So, I finally broke down and got myself a tablet. I decided to get an ASUS Transformer Prime. So far, it has been an absolutely fantastic. I’m sure I’ll get better at the whole typing thing, but I have to say that i am very pleased.

Just something to think about – I logged into my WordPress account, and saw that:
Akismet has protected your site from 41,999 spam comments already.
That just seems crazy to me. I can’t believe that my little blog has had that many spammers/bots visiting it. Just mind-boggling!
It took many, MANY months, but my web host finally made the move to .NET. I have been using another provider for the past few months so I could still develop new and exciting apps while waiting – it’s just nice to know that I can use the same host for all my needs!
Moving to the newer server was a major pain, but it did give me a reason to clean house before uploading all the content over again.
I’ll keep you posted on how things go!
I know that it has been ages since I posted on my blog, but that is for a good reason. Things have started to get so busy with our little man on the way – I can’t believe it is getting so close. Less than two months to go!
Other that a few minor meltdowns, my wife has been an absolute trooper. It is amazing how well she is doing with the whole thing. I hope to be posting more in the next few days, but I did want to touch base, confirm that I am still alive, and commit to more posting soon.
I have been working on a few really cool projects lately, so I hope to be able to provide some source code / tutorials soon.

Did you know that you have the ability download all the content you have uploaded to Facebook? I didn’t realize they had such an option until I was looking around Facebook this morning (trying to find little hidden gems that aren’t always advertised).
